Product/ Operations Coordinator 

Job Description:

 

  • Assist with the overall management and implementation of contracts
  • Maintain all contracts and correspondence from hotels in the internal drive
  • Maintain a current database of images for each hotel partner
  • Maintain up to date hotel/destination information in TTS
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly performance reports of bookings for internal staff and suppliers
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly business reviews for all partners
  • Complete competitive rate shops of packages on a weekly basis
  • Review hotel stop-sells, review and analyze empty seats data, identify problem areas and courses of action
  • Maintain constant communication internally and with suppliers
  • In conjunction with Sales, investigate and resolve customer service issues originating from media, partners, social media, and other sources
  • Assist travel agents with errors/omissions/misquotes and price matching needed to be resolved same day
  • Assist with hotel relocations and the negotiation of appropriate compensation
  • Communicate and coordinate event alerts to the Call-Centre
  • Advise travel agencies and/or customers of options on files affected by hurricanes/ IROPS and ensure follow-up
  • Assist and troubleshoot issues that may arise in destination
  • Troubleshoot issues that may arise which relate to either B2B or B2C (pricing & information discrepancies)
  • Supply destination representatives with northbound availability and rates for vacation extensions & obtain payment authorizations for any in-destination modifications
  • Follow up with Travel Agents and Destination Representatives with regard to no-shows

Requirements:

· One (1) to three (3) years of work-related experience

· Spanish is an asset

· Post-secondary education in Travel and Tourism or a related field

· TICO Certified

· Familiarity with SoftVoyage, particularly with TTS is required.

· Strong use of office technology (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, teams etc.)

· Very detail-oriented, and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

· Exceptional problem-solving skills
